“The exquisite interiors, old-fashioned glamour and impeccable service. As first time visitors to Marrakech, it was with some trepidation that we plunged into the dusty, narrow alleyway and made our way past crumbling buildings and stray cats but, after dodging mopeds and donkey carts, we arrived at the discreet dark green door of L’Hôtel Marrakech and entered another world. From the scent of orange blossom that fills the entrance to the mint tea and madeleines served on arrival, every detail has been meticulously planned. Jasper Conran’s sublime interiors blend local craftsmanship with antique pieces to create an elegant retreat that harks back to an earlier, more glamorous age. At the heart of the riad is the courtyard garden with its lush planting and bubbling fountain. We found ourselves abandoning sightseeing plans to spend our afternoons amongst the greenery, relaxing by the little pool. It’s at dusk, however, that it becomes truly enchanting. Dozens of tiny birds swoop in to roost in the trees, the lanterns are lit and music from the 1930s fills the air. We ventured out for dinner on only one night as the food in the hotel was wonderful and there was something deliciously decadent about dining in front of an open fire. With just five suites, L’Hôtel is quiet and intimate – more like a private house than a hotel – and most of the time we felt we had the place to ourselves. The service from manager Luca Ravera and his team was exceptional. We couldn’t have wished for more”

“Marrakech has many beautiful riads but L’Hotel is the ultimate. The whole atmosphere is gorgeous – like being a guest in someone’s beautiful private home. The service is friendly and discreet – we never felt hovered over, but when we needed something it was easy to find the staff. Our room (the Tangier suite) was lovely – bigger than it looks in the photos, and so comfortable. There is a little pool – not for sunbathing, but perfect for lounging in the shade with a book. Alcohol is not sold, but one can bring in their own. We bought Champagne and wine at duty free and the staff chilled this and brought it when we wanted it (poolside). Though the place was full, we usually felt like we were the only ones there. An absolutely divine experience, worth every penny.”

“In the middle of stimulating Marrakesh this little haven of good taste by designer Jasper Conran, is the perfect place to stay or regroup after a day hitting the Medina. Every detail is immaculate and considered, staff are a delight and every vista screams for an instagram shot – bold stripes and fabrics. Breakfast of freshly baked croissant in the courtyard of this intimate Riad will set you up for a great holiday or weekend away”

Heaven in Marrakech
There are not enough stars in the heavens to adequately rate this absolute gem of a riad in Marrakech. Sometimes referred to as Riad l’Hotel Marrakech, make sure you are booking the right place. Away from the hustle and bustle of the souks and streets of Marrakech is an Eden beyond an unassuming green door in the street. You enter and it’s peaceful, beautiful beyond description with a central garden, pool and the 5 rooms that make up the riad. The incredible staff (our main attendant Ismael was simply superb, and all of them were) are attentive to your every need. They make you feel comfortable when you arrive and when you leave. Bravo, we would come back in a heartbeat. One of the best hotel and customer service experiences we have ever had.
TripAdvisor – September 2018
“We absolutely LOVED our stay at L’Hotel Marrakech from the moment we arrived we were blown away. The hotel is beyond stunning with beautiful decor throughout and full of detail. From the moment we arrived the service was impeccable, the staff were super friendly and helpful and we were really touched by the big bouquet of roses in our suite along with a card wishing us a ‘Happy 1st Anniversary’ – a lovely gesture! We stayed in the Casablanca suite and it was even better than it looked in the photos online. The room is breath-taking, the bed really comfortable and the bathroom magnificent. We had a complimentary dinner one night and we both agreed it was the best meal we had during our stay in Morocco – the food was delicious, we’d highly recommend it. Finally we treated ourselves to a couples massage in our room.” – Mr and Mrs Smith Review July 2018
An incredible experience
“We were lucky enough to spot some editorial in Vogue Living Australia which led us to L’Hotel. From the minute we arrived until the time we left we were treated to the most amazing level of service. The five room Riad has been beautifully decorated by its owner Jasper Conran and the whole property is an Instagrammers dream. From the dusty lanes of the medina you enter an oasis of peace and calm. The beds are extremely comfortable with high quality linen. The breakfast spread was exception as were the dinners we enjoyed in the exqusite dinning room looking onto the garden. The pool is ideal for relaxing and dipping at anytime during your stay. Luca and his staff provide the most incredible level of service in a relaxed manner. The mint tea and madeleines upon arrival and everytime you return to the Riad become addictive. We can’t wait to return!”

“My wife and I stayed here for two night and it was exactly what we wanted – a piece of pure tranquility in the middle of the old city.
The staff could not have been better – friendly, efficient and knowledgeable on the city.
We had The Casablanca suit which was beautiful and had its own balcony which overlooked the internal courtyard. We had breakfast on it every morning.
We will be telling friends and family to stay here when the visit Marrakesh.”

A piece of heaven in busy Marrakech
“Our couple of days at L’Hôtel Marrakech were just heavenly! From the moment we stepped into the riad, we felt in a completely different world. The interior design, the service and friendliness of the staff, the peace and quiet, the intimate atmosphere. It all makes it hard to leave this place. As the riad only has a couple of rooms, we almost felt as if we were in our own private property. L’Hôtel Marrakech is an ideal location to withdraw to after you have visited the busy streets of Marrakech. We would love to go back!”

“So we know what luxury feels like.
We know the importance of timing, discretion and availability. That special feeling that someone understands us.
Marrakesh is special. We all know that.
But Luca made our staying all that more special. Always a message away with all the answers to all possible questions.”

“The design and overall aesthetic was truly something special. The food was exceptional. And the service supreme.”

“Completely enchanting hotel with exceptional service and attention to detail. We toured Morocco and stayed in more than half a dozen hotels, most booked on Tablet. L’Hotel Marrakech was by far our best experience and we highly recommend it. Luca, the hotel manager, provided a map for us of the riad in the medina and walked us to dinner. The staff was polite and attentive. Excellent experience.”

“I should start by saying I’m not sure if I’m a talented enough writer to fully convey quite how special L’Hotel Marrakech is, but will try my best to do it justice.
After landing in Marrakech and being met by our driver, we took the short journey through hectic streets into the old town. After swerving around donkeys and mopeds, we were met by a very nice man named George, who then led us down winding pink medina alleyways until we were stood outside an impressive dark green door: the entrance to L’Hotel. I feel like it would be cliché to call it ‘an oasis’. But it is, so I’m going to.
Behind the door is Jasper Conran’s beautifully restored 19th-century riad, where you suddenly feel a million miles away from the hot and dusty streets….” – Zoe Zimmer, anonymous reviewer for Mr and Mrs Smith – November 2017
“We had the most magical lunch at L’Hotel and completely fell in love with it. Without a shadow of doubt, our most delicious meal in Marrakech.” Skye McAlpine, food writer, From My Dining Table. – October 2017
A diamond in the Medina!
After doing my research I selected L’Hotel Marrakech. I booked the Casablanca Suite. I have strict criteria when selecting hotels and they didn’t disappoint! When I travel and wake up in the morning I want to wake up and know I am somewhere that doesn’t look like any other hotel. Hidden, but a quiet haven to experience. Staff attentive to detail. We also dined at Riad and had a wonderful dinner. Highly recommend!

L’Hotel Marrakech—an oasis in the thick of the city’s vibrant medina. What a FABULOUS place! Can’t wait to return! – Hamish Bowles, Vogue USA October 2017
A hidden gem!
We went to this restaurant the first night of our holiday in Marrakesh, my husband had pre booked whilst we were still at home. What a lovely experience! We were met out in the street by Fred who was our waiter for the evening. He guided us back down the tiny alleyways to the Riad and it was like walking into an Oasis! This was a memorable evening and a fantastic start to our holiday, we would both highly recommend this restaurant and the riad.

There’s nothing bad to say about this place. Everything was top notch, from the service to the staff to the property. We spent four nights of our honeymoon here and were treated like royalty. A great respite in the middle of the Medina. Highly recommend!

The place to stay
The staff of the L’Hôtel were warm, friendly and very helpful throughout our stay here George and Fred were the best, these guys will definitely go far, they’ve made our experience at the hotel and we would certainly come back to the hotel just because of them. The meals here were by far the best. It was always served fresh and they always wanted to make sure we were having the best experience – try to have lunch by the pool or upstairs with the sunset.

Well decorated spacious rooms in a luxury atmosphere
We had a family meeting on occasion of a birthday and booked 4 of the 5 suites.
The rooms are spacious and well decorated, and, the Riad has an extremely relaxing ambience especially the roof terraces.

This Riad was the highlight of our girls’ trip to Morocco!
This place is breath-taking. Our group took up almost all of the rooms in the Riad. My sister and I shared the Fez room. The room was spacious (as are the other rooms) and had its’ own balcony. Our group hung out in every room of the Riad, we fell in love with the rooftop, we would sunbathe till sunset and hangout there after we came back from our dinners. We didn’t want to leave this paradise.

Best Boutique Hotel in Marrakech
This is a high-end boutique hotel which features luxury design and is arranged to be comfortable and relaxing. Manager Luca makes great personal effort to ensure guests are well looked after. He even gave of us a walking tour of the neighbourhood as an orientation. His staff follow suit and everyone was attentive, courteous and professional. All-in-all this was the best place in town. The hotel also has a heated pool set in the lush green gardens. Location is in the historic Medina as opposed to the more recently built French quarters – for us that was a plus as it added to the cultural charm and authenticity of our stay.

This is it!!
If you can afford to stay here – then you should. It is truly magnificent. The rooms are exquisitely and elegantly decorated. It is truly luxurious, very well laid out and there is a lot of attention to detail.

Beautifully decorated Riad
. The staff were exceptional, there was always someone there if you needed anything.
. We were central yet it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere (it was extremely quiet).
. The Riad and interiors were so beautiful. I’m an interior designer and felt completely at home in the homely, welcoming environment.

A haven in hectic Marrakech
We stayed at the hotel in the heat of July and it was a joy to return each day to this beautiful, tranquil haven filled with enticing scents and sound of birds in the garden. The entire staff could not have been more charming and prepared the most delicious meals that we ate during our week in Marrakech. The entire experience was sumptuous and we were thoroughly pampered.

Jasper Conran’s first hotel, in the heart of the Marrakech medina, is an oasis of elegance and stately 1930s charm. – Fiona McCarthy
Jasper’s new hotel is light, airy, elegant and above all very peaceful. More house than hotel, it is filled with things that delight the eye and is deeply comfortable. Its tree-filled courtyard and four-poster beds hung with fluttering white curtains are another world from dust and bustle of the medina – I could stay here for weeks – Hatta Byng
I’ve been visiting Marrakesh for years and this new Riad has nailed it! I love the purity of its vision. Bright, white and airy providing the perfect respite from the wonderful chaos of Marrakesh streets outside. There’s an accomplished in-house chef cooking local dishes, warming wood fires to sit in front after a busy day in the souk and beds that are hard to get out of. A great addition to the Marrakesh scene. – Andy Harris
If you stay in Jasper Conan’s Riad in Marrakech you will experience a combination of comfort, simplicity, luxury and beauty that is quite unique.
Breakfast on the roof terrace with the view of the Atlas Mountains; swim in the pool shaded by banana trees; watch the flocks of birds fly in to swoop between the jasmine, the roses, the honey suckle and the orange blossom; if the evening has turned cool sit by an open fire. Retire to your suite and lie in the Egyptian sheets that feel like silk and enjoy the best dreams you’ve ever had. – Diana Melly
